The entire staff here at NRPR is so excited to announce we’ve added FIVE AMAZING NEW CLIENTS to our roster in Q1 2015 AND our new public relations focused radio show “PRefect Pitch” launches today.

I’ve always wanted to have a platform for sharing my journey growing up in the rapidly changing PR industry. I really enjoy sharing things I’ve learned over the course of the last 14+ years. Now I can do it in a fun, informative and interactive way.

It’s unfortunate that there is such a negative stigma around PR from people who’ve either had a bad experience or simply don’t understand the beauty of what we responsible practitioners do. I’m sincerely looking forward to pulling back that curtain on the industry and discussing what public relations is at it’s core, and not what it’s perceived to be. I’m also looking forward to chatting with the best of the best journalists and PR agency owners to talk about our evolving landscape and how we can all improve and work better together.

How do you pitch a story to a journalist? How do you get people to see your product? What does it take to pull off a great movie premier or app launch? There are so many unique skills and abilities that a publicist must have and continually improve upon if they want to be successful. Ten years ago, one interview and two stories in the media could make or break a client’s image or product, now with our “around the clock” accessibility and connectivity; due to social media, our work extends far beyond 5:00pm and sometimes doesn’t stop.

I look forward to being able to share all of this with our amazing followers and professionals, old and nw. Our hope is that our new show can shed light on what it takes to be successful in a fast-paced industry all while having a great time in a loose and fun atmosphere. I hope you’ll all tune in!
