How do you take your coffee?

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself?
Creative, Inspired & Authentic
What song fires you up?
An oldie, but a goodie and ALWAYS a good time – Axwell’s ‘Feel the Vibe (Til the Morning Comes)’
What’s your favorite part about working at NRPR Group?
I LOVE working with one of my best friends who also happens to be a kick ass PR Phenom and her team who are totally FIRED UP about about communications and delivering the best results for themselves, the team and, of course, the clients!
Tell us one of your proudest moments on the job:
Hard to say… Definitely helping the team hone into the heart of a business/brand’s needs to not only develop proposals and pitches that kicks ass, but also map to NRPR’s core capabilities that results in wins for both clients and the team. There are so many good days, but the best days are when I know that doing my part inspires others on the team and/or as a result of our collaboration we’re able to take things to the next level and shine.
When you’re not getting crafty and creative with NRPR Group, what can we find you doing?
When not working on PR/Communications and digital strategy awesomeness, I’m pursuing creative projects in the world of media and entertainment or Bailey, my furkid, gets me outside and keeps us social. As much as I am driven by creativity and curiosity and grand ideas in the pursuit of hopes and dreams, I’ve found that getting time away from screens and social media helps my stay connected to the present reality in front of me.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone hoping to start a career in PR?
ABC (& O) – Always Be Curious (and Open) to what’s possible, even if it’s outside of your current worldview or roadmap for your life. Also know that getting into PR means getting into the business of communications… as in communicating with people, which is a 2+ way process. It’s not just about broadcasting one point of view one way. We have to learn to not only be conduits of some many conversations, but we also have to know how to direct and channel, translate, etc. Being great at PR is both an art and a science.
Isn’t Wadooah awesome? We are truly lucky to have her on our team. Have any questions for Wadooah? Leave us a comment and stay up-to-date with the latest and greatest news from NRPR Group by signing up for our bi-monthly newsletter, HUSTLE WITH A CONSCIENCE!
