MEET THE NRPR #DREAMTEAM: ANITA YARDEMIAN

unnamed

Another month, another installment of our “Meet the NRPR #DREAMTEAM” series on the blog! Today, we’re introducing you to Anita Yardemian, one of our awesome Account Executives here at NRPR Group! We’re very lucky to have Anita on our team and we can’t wait for you to get to know her better:

Name: Anita Yardemian

Position: Account Executive

Date Drafted: October 2017

College: Woodbury University

Hometown: LA baby!

How do you take your coffee? Black with a little creamer. Also, lattes, cappuccino’s, cafe au lait, espressos for the afternoon….I love coffee (but I’m not addicted).

What are three words you’d use to describe yourself?
Doer, passionate, and curious.

What song fires you up?
Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, No Doubt’s I’m Just a Girl, Spaniol’s remix of Mistura De Carimbó Com Ciranda by Xavier Do Sax, Rampue’s Turn Around, and Whilk and Misky’s Clap Your Hands.

What’s your favorite part about working at NRPR Group?
The TEAM! I have so much love for the helpful, hardworking, go-mentality crew, our beautiful office views overlooking the LA skyline from the 7th floor, the freedom to be creative, the flexibility in each of our own work methods – we have our own way and combined with the NRPR way we make magic!

Tell us one of your proudest moments on the job:
Gaining this amazing role! Just a few months in, with more proud moments to come.

When you’re not working on earning coverage for your clients or learning the ropes at NRPR Group, what can we find you doing?
Pretty much always working in PR, but off duty I enjoy listening to and discovering good dance music, hanging out with friends and family, and attempting to exercise and cook.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone hoping to start a career in PR?
You have to want to learn from within you. PR is an extension of your personality. You have to look for answers and solutions without being told. Each approach is tailored differently and the outcomes are what molds you.  Of course, knowing the technical side is mandatory (writing, researching, and so on). The best part is sprinkling bits of your personality throughout to make PR your own. READ magazines, LEARN culture, KNOW everyday happenings, continue to STIMULATE the mind and EDUCATE yourself.

Isn’t Anita awesome? We are truly lucky to have her on our team. Have any questions for Anita? Leave us a comment and stay up-to-date with the latest and greatest news from NRPR Group by signing up for our bi-monthly newsletter, HUSTLE WITH A CONSCIENCE!
