Christopher Van Nest is the Social Media Manager at NRPR Group. Chris works on multiple entertainment, fitness, and consumer accounts at NRPR Group and enjoys switching between brand voices and getting into the minds of the target consumer. This mindset has helped Chris at his previous positions where he managed the social media pages for boutique accounts and Fortune 500 companies such as Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Worldwide, Inc., Jeopardy! and Mattel, and where he assisted socially in various movie promotions for Fox and NBC Universal.
Chris is originally from Detroit, Michigan and earned his B.A. at Michigan State University (go Spartans)! After graduating, Chris lived and worked in Chicago, New York City, Austin, and now currently Los Angeles. He believes that each city has made him smarter, stronger and more humble.
When Chris isn’t cruising around the social-sphere, he is either tutoring homeless children in Los Angeles with the non-profit organization School On Wheels, in the dance studio performing hip-hop choreography, or hosting his radio show that airs on KCLA with the American Radio Network. Chris enjoys exploring the beautiful city of Los Angeles, attending events he has no business at, and is always on the hunt for the best Manhattan in town.
